We are all aware that opening up a wall will gain you a ton of space but it can also change the entire vibe of your home. We removed the wall that divided the dining room and opened the doorway that leads in to the new entry and mudroom. This kitchen went from dark and stuffy to a modern, Scandinavian look. The sleek, custom birch cabinetry and the soapstone counter tops, keep the room cozy. The family enjoys taking in their new expansive views of the outdoors, while eating or doing homework at the island.
