A common theme in home renovation is wall removal. In the case of this home, we removed a wall that created a barrier between the front entrance and main entertaining area. With that piece removed, a large quartz island takes center stage and the kitchen once again, becomes the heart of the home.
Previously, the garage entrance was a dark hall with zero storage. We borrowed a little space from the adjoining formal dining room to create the traditional Vermont mudroom, complete with loads of hooks to store jackets and a custom bench to remove shoes and boots.
Some of the other stand out features are a curbless shower and hand-crafted cabinetry in the primary suite, custom paneling on the staircase, a spacious laundry room and guest bathroom.
